That experience made one problem impossible to ignore: compliance professionals spend a disproportionate amount of their time on the most mechanical part of their job — locating the right clause and confirming it applies. There are many general-purpose AI tools that can search documents. WiseReg is different because it is built specifically around the ASIC and APRA regulatory corpus — how it is structured, how its guidance relates to the underlying legislation, and how it changes over time. The corpus is maintained and updated as ASIC and APRA release new material.

This focus on a specific jurisdiction means better retrieval accuracy and answers that are grounded in the actual regulatory text your team is accountable to — not generic AI output about "financial regulation" in the abstract.
